Cool Gear Inks Coca-Cola Worldwide Licensing Agreement

Cool Gear International (CGI), a manufacturer of housewares and hydration products, has signed a three-year worldwide licensing deal with Atlanta-based Coca-Cola, bringing the brand’s logo and designs to CGI’s collection of patented hydration products.

The first product to feature the new Coca-Cola designs will be the recently introduced coolgearcan (left), which CGI plans to offer in six seasonal designs for a suggested $5 to $7 during the holiday 2013 season. Additionally, the Plymouth, Mass.-based company intends to launch an everyday line of hydration and serveware products with the Coca-Cola designs for retail purchasing in early 2014.

Other CGI products to receive Coca-Cola designs will include the top-selling Chiller.

“The new licensing partnership between Cool Gear International and Coca-Cola will provide an exciting addition of designs to our brand,” noted CGI President/CEO Donna Roth. “Both brands are iconic in U.S. culture.”
