B&R’s New Super Saver Store to Open Feb. 6

B&R Stores will open its fifth Super Saver store on Feb. 6 in the Lincoln, Neb.-based Fallbrook MarketPlace development, and will feature a brighter, more open look than the existing stores under the banner, the grocer said.

The new store – the company’s 18th in total -- will serve a large and growing area of Lincoln as well as nearby communities, according to B&R Stores president Pat Raybould. “We’re glad to offer our new neighbors a supermarket of their own,” he said. “Our newest store combines our longtime commitment to low prices and high quality with a fresh approach to store design and energy efficiency.”

The 61,000-square-foot store includes a bakery, full-service floral department, delicatessen, expanded spirits department and Wall of Values. Shoppers can earn discounts on gas and enjoy the convenience of an in-store bank and drive-up pharmacy window.

As part of the grand opening celebration, one shopper will be let into the store early with a $1,000 shopping spree. Customers will have the opportunity to register for more prize giveaways at the Fallbrook Super Saver in the coming weeks.

Lincoln, Neb.-based B&R Stores is an employee-owned company with 17 stores under four store concepts -- Russ’s Market, Super Saver, Save Best Foods and Grand Central Apple Market -- located in seven cities across Nebraska and Iowa.
