Brookshire Grocery Co. Launches 'Danger Rangers' Kids Club

In conjunction with the launch of Brookshire Grocery Co.’s (BGC) new baby club, the regional retailer has teamed up with Mighty Kids Media to bring the Danger Rangers kids club to its stores.

The Danger Rangers are Mighty Kids Media’s flagship brand that celebrates SuperEmpowerment in every child. The Danger Rangers kids club has been implemented in many grocery retailers around the country, and will launch in Brookshire’s stores on Feb. 27.

“Brookshire Grocery Company is committed to serving families in the areas we operate and we hope children and parents will benefit from this new program designed especially for them,” said Rebecca Sanders, director of public relations for BGC.

Danger Rangers award-winning cartoons help to educate children and enable them to make better decisions. The brand includes an extensive library of television episodes, music, story books, activity books, educational curriculum and an interactive website for children ages 3 to 10.

Children signed up for the program will receive a welcome gift upon joining that includes a membership card, Danger Rangers wristband, stickers, tattoos and a mini activity book. They will also get a free cookie or piece of fruit each time they visit a store and show their kids club membership card.

Additional benefits include a free Yums cupcake or box of granola on their birthday, a monthly e-newsletter, a seasonal activity magazine, as well as access to the interactive website and holiday coloring contests. Also, members are automatically entered into a monthly contest for a Danger Rangers gift and a quarterly drawing for a birthday prize pack.

New signage can be found in each Brookshire’s location with information on the Danger Rangers. On some of these signs, store guests will find a quick response code that can be scanned with their smart phone to view a Danger Rangers music video, providing entertainment for the children while their parents shop.

Brookshire Grocery Co. operates 153 stores in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
