Door to Door Organics Names CTO, VP of Merchandising

Online grocer Door to Door Organics has named Greg Lems as chief technology officer (CTO) and Jeff Ludwin its VP of merchandising.

As CTO, Lems will manage the company's ecommerce and operating model, including enhancing its food sourcing and distribution technology. He previously served as CTO of Placeable, a Denver-based location marketing technology company.

Ludwin will oversee Door to Door Organics' fresh-focused ecommerce offering, and will also work to increase customer retention and help drive product and service innovation. Ludwin joins Door to Door Organics from online grocer Fresh Direct, where he managed the category assortment, sourcing and purchasing of meat, poultry and seafood.
