Giant Eagle’s New Banner ‘Evolves’

Giant Eagle will launch a new discount banner in the Pittsburgh area – its first in the grocer's headquarters city – early next month.

Good Cents Grocery + More location is an “evolution” of the Valu King banner that Giant Eagle currently operates in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, Giant Eagle spokesman Dan Donovan told Progressive Grocer.

Additional details about the new store will come to light after the first location’s debut in early November, Donovan said.
