Giant-Landover Fights Pediatric Cancer

Giant Food of Landover, Md., Manager of Public and Community Relations Jamie Miller (right) presents a check for $1.25 million to the Pediatric Oncology division at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore as a result of the grocer’s 2012 "Triple Winner" program. On hand to accept the donation are Dr. Donald Small, director of pediatric oncology (left), and Stephanie Davis, Kimmel Cancer Center senior associate director of development. Since it began in 2005, Triple Winner has raised $11.5 million for pediatric cancer research.
