Kroger Doubles Down for Fuel Savings

Just in time for Memorial Day weekend and summer driving season, customers can now earn and redeem fuel points to save up to $2 per gallon at fuel centers at The Kroger Co.’s family of stores.

Kroger’s “Hot Savings on Fuel, All Summer Long” promotion doubles the maximum points redeemable for a discount. Now, customers can earn and redeem up to 2,000 fuel rewards points through regular purchases and special offers through Sept. 30.
“Last year, we increased the potential savings up to $1 per gallon at most of our stores around the country. Customers continue looking for ways to save, and we're delighted to offer them even more control at the pump,” said Michael J. Donnelly, Kroger’s senior VP of merchandising. “In addition to everyday low prices in all of our stores, this is another way we’re rewarding our customers for choosing to shop with us.”

Cincinnati-based Kroger operates 2,435 supermarkets and multidepartment stores in 31 states under two dozen local banner names including Kroger, City Market, Dillons, Jay C, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, King Soopers, QFC, Ralphs and Smith’s.
