Meijer's 'Ready! For You' Program Offers Simple Food Solutions

In an effort to help families prepare simple meals and snacks, Meijer has unveiled its new "Ready! For You" food solutions program chain-wide.

The Grand Rapids, Mich.-based grocer is featuring Ready! For You-branded meal displays that pair food solutions items from various manufacturers. Shoppers can also taste what's on display through the program's weekly sampling demos.

Featured meal items have an average cost of $12-$15 and feed a family of four. The grocer is also offering 15-20 percent discounts on the purchase of multiple Ready! For You items.

"Families are busier than ever and feeling squeezed for both time and money," said Randy Stewart, group VP of foods for Meijer. "We're excited to launch this new program as shoppers focus on back to school and get back into a routine of family meals that are affordable and quick to prepare."

Meijer is supporting the program through online videos as well as recipe ideas on Pinterest.

Meijer operates 213 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
