PCC Launches CEO Search

6/16/2014

Following the resignation of CEO Tracy Wolpert, who has left to pursue other interests, the board of trustees of Seattle-based PCC Natural Markets (PCC) has begun a search for a replacement. In the interim, CFO Randy Lee is acting CEO, aided by the natural food cooperative's senior management team.

Wolpert joined PCC in 2000 as COO and became CEO in 2001. Under his leadership, the co-op opened four stores and, as of year-end 2013, surpassed $200 million in sales and employed more than 1,100 associates. PCC just opened its 10th store, in Seattle's Green Lake Village community, earlier this month.

With an active membership of more than 52,000 households, PCC operates 10 locations, nine in Washington's King County and one in the state's South Snohomish County.
