Pick ‘n Save Rolls Out 'New Everyday' Service and Quality

Milwaukee-based Roundy’s Inc. is making changes at its Wisconsin Pick ‘n Save stores aimed at providing customers with high-quality products and a superior shopping experience.

“Our goal is to make Pick ‘n Save Milwaukee’s premier food retailer,” said Robert Mariano, chairman, president and CEO of Roundy’s. “We are excited about these changes and believe our customers will notice the difference and reward us with their loyalty.”

Roundy’s studied its current store offerings and determined why customers kept coming back. The change in store ideals reflects what the company found customers value most.

Among the changes shopper should immediately notice:

Enhanced customer service: With a new training program in place for both new and existing staff, customers can expect employees to be ready to help in every section, groceries bagged at every register and an overall superior shopping experience.
New products: With consumers paying greater attention to their food choices, Roundy’s aims to ensure customers are offered the highest-quality items, including new fresh meats and produce. For example, the company recently started carrying locally grown produce in all of its Milwaukee stores.

Founded in Milwaukee in 1872, Roundy’s operates 161 retail grocery stores and 100 pharmacies under the Pick ’n Save, Rainbow, Copps, Metro Market and Mariano’s banners in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
