Roundy's to Close Stevens Point DC

Milwaukee-based Roundy’s Inc. plans to close its distribution center in Stevens Point, Wis.

The facility is no longer needed since Roundy's divested its Rainbow stores in the Twin Cities area. With the closing of the Stevens Point center, the company will consolidate operations to its Oconomowoc and Mazomanie, Wis., distribution facilities. A gradual phase-out of operations will occur at Stevens Point, with operations there expected to cease entirely by Sept. 30.

Founded in Milwaukee in 1872, Roundy’s operates 174 retail grocery stores and 110 pharmacies under the Pick ’n Save, Rainbow, Copps, Metro Market and Mariano’s retail banners in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
