Shanahan Named President of Buehler’s Fresh Foods

Dan Shanahan, most recently COO of Buehler’s Fresh Foods, has been named president of the 14-store organization by its Wooster, Ohio-based parent company, E&H Family Group.

In his new role, Shanahan will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of Buehler’s namesake supermarkets that are located in the Ohio communities of Ashland, Brunswick, Coshocton, Delaware, Jackson Twp. (Canton), Medina, Dover, New Philadelphia, Orrville, Portage Lakes (Akron), Wadsworth and Wooster.

Meanwhile, Scott Buehler, COO of E&H Family Group’s Ace hardware stores’ subsidiary, has also been elevated to president of his division.

Buehler's expanded role now includes the full scope of operational leadership duties for his family company's 12 Ace Hardware Stores that are located in Delaware, Dover, Garrettsville, Independence, Jackson Twp. (Canton), Medina, Middlefield, New Philadelphia, Oberlin, Orrville, Rocky River and Westlake, Ohio.

E&H Family Group will open a new Ace location in Avon Lake, Ohio, later this year.
