Super Saver Remodel Updates Design, Keeps Meat Cutters

Community-based independent B&R Stores’ Super Saver banner remodeled a store in its headquarter city of Lincoln, Neb. with new signage and décor designed to deliver an enhanced shopping experience

“For more than 25 years, Super Saver has given shoppers the value, quality, and selection they’re looking for,” said Pat Raybould, president of B&R. “We’ve worked hard to make sure the changes to the store also demonstrate our commitment to delivering a high-quality shopping experience. With updated lighting, displays, and checkout area, the remodeled store is now more pleasant and convenient to shop.”

As part of the remodel, Super Saver has integrated its natural and organic products with their traditional counterparts throughout the store to make direct comparisons easier for customers. Other new features include updated displays and lighting in a number of areas throughout the store, including the produce department, bakery, and deli. One thing that hasn’t changed, according to Raybould is that Super Saver still cuts its meat fresh in the store.

Employee-owned B&R operates 17 stores in seven cities across Nebraska and Iowa in four distinct concepts: Russ’s Market, Super Saver, Save Best Foods, and Grand Central Apple Market.
