Tops CFO William Mills Leaves Company

Tops Holding Co. SVP and CFO William R. Mills resigned last week at the end of the Northeast regional grocer's fiscal third quarter.

Although no longer with Tops, Mills remains available for consultation on ongoing matters as necessary through the end of the year, according to the company.

VP and Chief Accounting Officer David Langless has taken the position of interim CFO, while Tops looks for Mills' replacement. Langless, a certified public accountant, has held his current role since 2010, and before that was director, financial reporting from 2008-2010.

Williamsville, N.Y.-based Tops operates 159 supermarkets – 154 company-owned and five franchise locations – with more than 15,000 associates in upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and western Vermont.
