The United Family Launches Childhood Nutrition Program

The United Family has expanded its rewards program with the launch of a new platform designed to promote kids' health and nutrition.

The grocer's "Kids Clubs" – which is available at all United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, Albertsons Market and United Express locations – enables members to earn rewards at the beginning of each month on kid-friendly items, including granola bars, juice boxes and fruit snacks, among others.

The program also offers a series of games and special in-store events for kids.

"Taking children to the supermarket is an essential part of family life, and our Kids Club helps make the experience more enjoyable for our guests, as well as their kids,” said Robin Cash, loyalty marketing manager for The United Family. “The program creates an atmosphere that is educational and provides an entertaining and interactive element that children will really enjoy.”

Customers can sign up for Kids Club by visiting www.unitedtexas.com or use the “United Market” mobile app.

The United Family, based in Lubbock, Texas, operates 66 stores in West Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth and New Mexico, as well as ancillary operations R.C. Taylor Distributing, Praters and Llano Logistics. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Albertson’s LLC
