Weis Expands Online Ordering

Weis Markets' new Huntingdon Valley store will offer Weis Online Shopping with in-store pick-up beginning on Sunday.

Weis Online Shopping allows customers to order online and pay through a secure PayPal system or at the store with curbside checkout. Each shopping order is hand picked by a personal shopper store associate. Customers can use their Weis Preferred Shopper’s card to accumulate savings and gas rewards, browse the online weekly circular and add feature items to their cart. Paper and e-coupons are also accepted.

“Over the past year, we’ve improved our online shopping’s ease of use and have seen a steady increase in orders. Customers can place their orders at any time and schedule a convenient pick-up time that suits their schedule,” said Brian Holt, VP of advertising, marketing and public relations. “Weis Online Shopping is particularly well-suited to customers who don’t have the time or ability to shop, including double-income households, families with small children and customers with mobility issues.”

Weis Online Shopping is now offered in 15 locations, including its stores in Conshohocken, Doylestown, Lansdale and Norristown.

Founded in 1912, Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis Markets Inc. operates 165 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
