Well-Pict Berries Debuts ‘Well Pictures’ Campaign

Well-Pict Berries is putting its retailers in the spotlight with a new 2012 berry promotion. All retail partners are invited to take a photo of their best berry displays with their smartphones, and then either post their ‘Well Pictures’ to Well-Pict’s Facebook page or e-mail them to [email protected].

Each photo e-mailed or posted is eligible to win prizes, with the chance of being chosen as the best Well Picture and featured in a future Well-Pict ad. To add to the fun, the Watsonville, Calif.-based company is encouraging consumers to get in on the action, too, by posting their own best berry moments on Facebook for the chance to win prizes.

Grown along the California coast, Florida and Mexico using tried-and-true cross-breeding methods and featuring no GMOs, Well-Pict’s berry varieties are bred for superior flavor, aroma, appearance and more subtle characteristics like how they perform in the climates of different growing regions. This allows the company to fine-tune regional harvest times to ensure the maximum possible availability at any time of year.

This spring, Well-Pict’s latest organic raspberry variety, #2933, which the company says is bigger and more flavorful than standard varieties, will arrive in stores in time for Mother’s Day. Additionally, Well-Pict will again run its popular long-stem strawberry program during the Mother's Day and Easter/spring promotional periods.
