California Grocers Honor Hall of Achievement Inductees

Joyce and Jim Raley Teel of Raley's Family of Fine Stores and Joseph E. Gallo of E. & J. Gallo Winery have been named to the California Grocers Association Educational Foundation Hall of Achievement.

The industry veterans will be honored at an induction ceremony on March 26 at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento for their "lifelong commitment to the grocery industry and their unwavering support of the communities they serve," according to Dave Heylen, the CGA's VP, communications.

Founded in 1992, the Foundation's Hall of Achievement recognizes grocery retailers and suppliers who have contributed substantially to the advancement of the grocery industry, and California’s food distribution industry in particular.

The California Grocers Association is a non-profit, statewide trade association representing more than 300 retail members operating more than 6,000 food stores in California and Nevada, and approximately 200 grocery supplier companies.
