Inmar Adds M-Dot Network Retailers to its Digital Incentive Exchange

The move will provide more digital incentive offerings for retailers.

Digital promotion solutions vendor M-Dot Network plans to use Inmar’s digital incentive exchange platform to connect publishers and brands to its retail clients.

"M-Dot’s technology enables retailers to control their digital promotion destiny, giving them the tools to manage a pipeline of digital offers in a safe, secure manner," said Bob Carter, president of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Inmar’s Promotion Services division. "We’ll connect their retail integrations to a host of digital and mobile coupon distributors and media firms through Inmar’s digital incentive exchange platform."

This will be an expansion of the existing Inmar and M-Dot Network relationship, which already includes using Inmar’s digital promotion financial settlement solution to reimburse retailers for redemptions.

“Now, brands and retailers can confidently participate in the digital revolution,” said Bill Catania, CEO of M-Dot. “By utilizing Inmar’s digital financial settlement solution, we have already delivered the industry requirements of robust financial controls, accurate financial reconciliation, and fraud prevention – such as Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Now, we are working with Inmar’s digital incentive exchange platform to create scale and enable secure digital promotions that work for everyone.”

Inmar connects trading partners through consulting, software services, and operations so they can improve quality, efficiency and collaboration in supply chain, consumer marketing, business intelligence, financial settlement, and risk management.

Erie, Pa.-based M-Dot Network is a digital incentive network processor that enables retailers to issue and redeem digital coupons and incentives in real-time while utilizing their existing in-store technology infrastructure. M-Dot provides secure transaction processing that is both PCI and Sarbanes-Oxley compliant, treating digital coupons and incentives similarly to currency.
