Jarlsberg brand cheese, from Stamford, Conn.-based Norseland, Inc., and two equally popular consumer brands, New York Texas Toast and Tabasco brand Chipotle Pepper Sauce, have joined forces for a smokin’ hot Labor Day barbecue entertaining-themed promotion. The cooperative multi-media merchandising endeavor -- featuring the Smoky Texas Jarlsberger recipe -- is timed to coincide with Labor Day gatherings and will include a television episode on “Flavors of America,” hosted by Chef Jim Coleman and set to air in top cable and PBS markets.
A special online micro site has also been created -- www.GrillHub.com -- promoting all three brands, while FSIs with generous coupon savings will play a major part in getting the word out to top markets with a collective reach of 40 million consumers. Store displays will also be available with recipe tear-off pads that will also emphasize easy, creative grill/entertainment tips.
