Jeff Sutton has joined Bacompt as chief sales and marketing officer of the provider of shelf-edge marketing programs for supermarkets, drug stores and other retail chains.
Before his executive sales and marketing management roles for Daymon Worldwide and Advantage Sales & Marketing, Sutton worked in management positions with retail grocers including Kroger, Marsh Supermarkets and Wild Oats Markets. At Damon, Sutton managed sales and marketing teams serving Kroger, Ahold and Dollar General. Most recently, he built and managed a shared services center for Daymon that housed multiple finance, analytics and customer service teams.
At Bacompt, Sutton’s responsibilities encompass strategy, marketing, innovation and business development to build marketing programs that help retailers better understand and take advantage of Bacompt’s shelf-edge and point-of-purchase programs. “Jeff has an exceptional understanding of the retail marketplace and a track record of innovation, new strategy development and customer service excellence,” said Bud Stanley, Bacompt president and CEO.
