Jif Fans Asked for Fave Seasonal Dishes

Jif Peanut Butter is encouraging inventive home chefs to enter their best-loved original recipes featuring the iconic peanut butter brand in the Jif Holiday Spread Recipe Contest at www.Jif.com. Those who take part have the chance to win one of two $10,000 kitchen makeovers. The competition runs through Jan. 17, 2011.

Jif users can enter submissions in one of two recipes categories: savory or sweet. Recipes must include a minimum of two tablespoons of any Jif variety and provide at least six servings. One grand-prize winner in each category will win $10,000 to use toward a brand-new kitchen.

“Jif Peanut Butter is already a favorite part of everyday menus, so it’s a natural fit to include it in holiday recipes that create memories and family traditions for years to come,” said Maribeth Badertscher, VP, corporate communications at the Orrville, Ohio-based J.M.
