    José Olé Throwing Year-long 10th Anniversary Party

    José Olé, a manufacturer of premium quality frozen Mexican food, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with “Come Join the Party!” — a multi-faceted promotional and charitable campaign representing the biggest such effort in the company’s history.

    Running through Dec. 5, 2010, “Come Join the Party!” invites consumers to take part two giveaways: one for a chance to win one of 46 weekly $500 “Party Prize Packages,” and one for a $20,000 “Party of Your Dreams” Grand Prize. For every eligible online sweepstakes entry at www.joseole.com, José Olé will contribute $1 to the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), up to $170,000. The donation will be divided equally among the 170 CMN hospitals across the country. Consumers are urged to enter the sweepstakes on a weekly basis to boost their chances of winning and help reach the maximum contribution goal for CMN.

    “José Olé is a brand that is all about the fun that our delicious and convenient restaurant quality foods bring to any snack, meal or get-together,” said Rob Berry, marketing director at Ontario, Calif.-based José Olé, a division of Windsor Foods. “When we launched the José Olé brand 10 years ago, we promised to ‘change the face of frozen Mexican food’ by creating a new gold standard in flavor and quality.”

    Weekly $500 “Party Prize Packages” not only feature free José Olé coupons, but also gift cards from major national retailers to be used for party food, music and decorations. The grand prize also asks consumers to describe the “Party of Their Dreams,” for the chance to win a check for $20,000 to make that fantasy come true.

    Additionally, the company is distributing over 200 million trial online, in-store and FSI coupons for the duration of the campaign. José Olé has further redesigned its Web site with festive new graphics and party-relevant value-added content such as recipes and polls. Consumers can also visit social media sites Facebook and Twitter to participate in “Come Join the Party!” activities.
