Kellogg Bows 3rd Annual ‘Share Breakfast’ Program

Brand partners with actor Taye Diggs to provide one million meals for kids in need

Just in time for the season of giving, the Kellogg Company has teamed up with celebrity dad, actor Taye Diggs, to share breakfast with children in need as part of the third consecutive “Share Breakfast” initiative.

Consumers can visit the Share Breakfast website to watch a public service announcement (PSA) featuring Diggs that urges families to get involved in the campaign. Kellogg will provide breakfast for a child who might otherwise go without for each time a consumer does one of the following:

    • “Likes” or posts a comment on the Share Breakfast Facebook page
    • Pins the PSA on Pinterest
    • Shares the PSA with friends

One in five children may go without breakfast each day, and, along with in-school breakfast partner Action For Healthy Kids, Kellogg and Diggs are making it their mission to show families how a wholesome breakfast can help kids reach their full potential. "Just imagine what kids across the country could accomplish if they each had a great start every day,” said Diggs. “That's why I am partnering with Kellogg's and the Share Breakfast program to help make this a reality. Join me in raising one million breakfasts to help get America's kids the start they deserve."

Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg is the world's leading producer of cereal and second largest producer of cookies and crackers. Kellogg products are produced in 18 countries and marketed in more than 180 countries.
