Khimetrics Founder and Price Optimization Pioneer Joins Revionics Board
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Kenneth J. Ouimet, a well-known pioneer in the retail revenue management arena and founder of Khimetrics, Inc. (now part of SAP) has joined the board of directors of Revionics, a provider of price and promotion optimization software tailored to independent grocers.
"Revionics is extremely well-positioned to help retailers increase profitability while improving customer loyalty," said Ouimet. "[It has a] unique intellectual property, software-as-a-service business model and ability to address the un-served small and medium sized retail market."
Khimetrics was a provider of consumer demand management software to the retail, financial services, and CPG industries, serving primarily large chains, and was acquired by SAP AG in Jan 2006, At SAP, Ouimet served as chief scientist and headed SAP's demand management innovation group until leaving the company in August of 2007.
