King Kullen Expanding Grocery Delivery Service

Although it currently offers delivery at 15 of its 42 Long Island, N.Y., locations, King Kullen doesn’t yet provide the service at any of its East End branches, which consist of Bridgehampton, Cutchogue, Riverhead, Hampton Bays and Eastport. That’s soon about to change, however, according to a published report.

The Bethpage, N.Y.-based grocer now plans to offer delivery throughout the town of Southampton and as far into East Hampton as the 11963 ZIP code extends, VP of Store Operations Tony Femminella told the Sag Harbor Express on Long Island.

Describing the service to the newspaper, Femminella noted that “when you go online, you can order right off a menu of items. Then you can either select a time slot for pick up at the store, which will be at a separate entrance in the rear, or you can schedule a delivery.”

King Kullen aims to have the service available for the additional stores through its website by mid-May, just in time for the summer rush, Femminella added.
