King Soopers Stores to Carry No Name Premium Meat Products

King Soopers stores in the Denver area this month will begin offering a variety of meal solutions featuring No Name premium meat products.

"We've taken the guess-work and planning out of preparing meals," said Josh Henderson, No Name brand manager. "Chef Frank Petersen, our in-house chef has created delicious meal options using high-quality cuts and marinades made with ingredients home cooks would use if they had the time."

Among the No Name products that will be available are Filet of Sirloin Beef Steaks, Ranch Steaks, Pecan Crusted Chicken Breasts, Tortilla Crusted Chicken Breasts, Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and a combination 'Grill Pack' comprised of two filet of sirloin steaks, two boneless pork chops, and two chicken breasts -- all packaged together in one box.

"Whether grilling or baking is a better fit for meal-time preparation plans, No Name has Denver cooks covered," said Henderson. "No Name helps busy people serve a quality, home-cooked meal any day of the week without the hassle."

According to King Sooper's, No Name products are butcher-quality cuts of meat that are flash-frozen at the peak of freshness. They come individually wrapped and can be prepared in less than 30 minutes.

In addition, The No Name Web site (http://www.nonamesteaks.com) offers a selection of recipes to help shoppers add variety to their meals. Some recipe examples are chicken parmesan with fettuccine, flatbread pizza with parmesan chicken, corn chowder with pecan chicken, and tortilla chicken salad bowl.
