Kozy Shack Backs Heart Campaign With Sweepstakes

One finalist of Kozy Shack’s Red Dress Sweepstakes will get to pick an envelope from among 50 beautiful women (á la TV’s “Deal or No Deal”) all wearing red in support of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute's “The Heart Truth” campaign. The Red Dress is the national symbol of heart disease awareness for women, reminding them of the need to protect their heart health, and inspiring them to be proactive. Consumers can enter the sweepstakes through Nov. 30 at www.kozyshackreddress.com.

“The wholesome ingredients and health benefits of our Kozy Shack No Sugar Added pudding products … help women maintain a healthy lifestyle while still enjoying delicious snacks,” said Bob Striano, CEO of Hicksville, N.Y.-based Kozy Shack. “We believe the Red Dress Sweepstakes should have twice the impact with our customers: as a reminder that healthy eating is a key element of heart health, and as a chance to win the prize of a lifetime.”

Employing national advertisements, Facebook and e-mail, Kozy Shack has been generating consumer attention for the sweepstakes and No Sugar Added puddings. After Nov. 30, a random drawing will be held to select a finalist. Vying for the grand prize of $1 million dollars, the finalist will jet to New York during February 2012 -- American Heart Month -- to choose from among 50 women wearing red dresses, each holding a prize envelope. Only one will hold the $1 million-dollar check.

Kozy Shack has also undertaken educational initiatives to raise awareness about heart disease in women.
