Kroger, Cincinnati Bell Ink Data-Center Deal

CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. has inked a pact with Cincinnati Bell to provide data-center and managed services, through the latter’s wholly-owned division CBTS.

CBTS, a business technology solutions provider, said the agreement with Kroger further develops a long-time partnership with previously included wire line and wireless services and now extends to data centre and related services.

Terms of the deal were not released.

CBTS, along with Cincinnati Bell, provides solutions around various IT and telephone services, managed infrastructure services, data centre services and IT staff augmentation services.

Kroger operates more than 2,400 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states.
