William T. Boehm, Kroger's s.v.p. of manufacturing, has exercised options for 20,000 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Boehm on Monday reported exercising options for shares of $22.23 apiece and selling them the same day for between $25.41 and $25.50 each.
Form 4s filers report transactions in their companies' shares; open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
Boehm joined the Cincinnati-based Kroger in 1981 as director of economic research and has since held several positions of increasing responsibility. As president of Kroger's manufacturing division, Boehm oversees 35 of the company's food processing plants, including its dairies, bakeries, grocery products and beverage plants.
