Kroger Taps Rick Going to Lead New Michigan Division
CINCINNATI -- The Kroger Co. here named 26-year company veteran Rick Going president of its new 138-store Michigan division.
Going, who joined Kroger in 1981, has held a number of leadership positions at the store, district and division level. He has served as v.p./retail operations and v.p./merchandising for Kroger's Cincinnati/Dayton division.
"Rick brings extensive experience in operations and merchandising to this new role," said Don McGeorge, Kroger's president/c.o.o. "We look forward to his leadership as he works with our associates to build on Kroger's growth in Michigan by focusing on our customers to create even better shopping experiences for them."
Kroger operates more than 2,400 supermarkets and multi-department stores in 31 states.
