Kroger, Union Ink New Labor Accord in Dallas

Members of the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 1000 and the Kroger Co.’s Dallas-based Southwest division have ratified a new labor agreement that covers over 8,000 Kroger associates who work in 90 area stores.

“The company and the union worked together to reach an agreement that is good for our associates, good for our customers and good for our company,” said Bill Breetz, president of Kroger’s Houston-based Southwest division, which comprises 209 stores in Texas and Louisiana. “We look forward to continuing to provide quality jobs for our associates and a great shopping experience for our customers.”
