KSS, Inc. and FuelLogix, LLC have formed a partnership to integrate the point-of-sale (POS) sales data and reports generated from FuelLogix’s Agility solution with KSS’ PriceNet fuel price management solution, in an effort to create an enhanced fuel pricing system for convenience and grocery retailers.
“By combining these two leading technology solutions, fuel retailers will have a wealth of information to make impactful, accurate and competitive fuel-pricing decisions that positively impact both fuel and store profits,” said Bob Stein, president and CEO of Florham Park, N.J.-based KSS.
Agility is FuelLogix’s retail automation platform that captures data and daily reporting from the POS through the auditing process and financial statements, providing retailers a cost-effective and efficient solution all across a Web browser, according to the company.
PriceNet is KSS’ pricing solution that supports key tasks and stakeholders involved in retail fuels pricing. The automated and exception-based system captures field-based intelligence at the site level, and generates price proposals via comprehensive pricing rules or price optimization.
Kennon Mullen, VP and senior consultant at Winter Park, Fla.-based FuelLogix, said: “In today’s volatile fuel environment, every piece of information is vital to maintaining a competitive advantage at both the local and enterprise level. The goal of this partnership is to help our customers maximize that advantage.”
