Loblaw Shops for Software

Loblaw Cos., Ltd. said it is upgrading its information systems and processes, and  has selected SAP Canada, Inc.; JDA Software Group, Inc.; and Manhattan Associates to provide software for the project.

The software will address the retail basics of order management, perpetual inventory, pricing, financials, human resources, master data management, supply chain forecasting, replenishment and transportation, and distribution centre operations management, said Loblaw.

"We will take a measured approach to implementation, using experienced partners, proven solutions, and little to no customization," noted Catherine Booth, Loblaw’s s.v.p., information technology. "This system and process renewal will be very beneficial for our customers and make life easier for our store and office colleagues."
