    Loblaws' President's Choice Brand to Roll Out 140 New Foods for Holidays

    BRAMPTON, Ont. -- In the largest food launch in its nearly 25-year history, Loblaws' President's Choice private label brand will unveil 140 new food products when the 2007 "PC Holiday Insider's Report" comes out Nov. 10.

    BRAMPTON, Ont. -- In the largest food launch in its nearly 25-year history, Loblaws' President's Choice private label brand will unveil 140 new food products when the 2007 "PC Holiday Insider's Report" comes out Nov. 10.

    Before that official release date, however, the Canadian retailer said it will provide a sneak peek today.

    Martin Jamieson, e.v.p., Loblaw Brands and President's Choice "Chief Foodie"; Paul Uys, v.p., fresh, Loblaw Brands; and six of the brand's product developers will be on hand at the St. Lawrence Market from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to share the stories of history, culture, world travel and innovation behind some of the gourmet items, which include dulce de leche from Argentina, handmade dim sum from China, and tarte au chocolate and tarte au citron inspired by trips to Paris.
