Louisiana Guv's Visit Highlights Rouses Market's Local Flair
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal held a press conference Thursday at the North Canal Blvd. Rouses Market in Thibodaux, La., to discuss Louisiana's economic incentives for business, and shed light on Rouses Market's own role in supporting the state economy, Donald Rouse, the chain's managing partner, told Progressive Grocer.
Governor Jindal toured Rouses Market "to witness first hand the role a Louisiana retailer (Rouses) is playing in the distribution of Louisiana products; including Louisiana Seafood, Louisiana Produce, Louisiana Meat as well as all other products manufactured in our State," Rouse said.
Jindal also met with Rouses' store team members and customers during his visit.
