    Litehouse Foods is raising consumer awareness of National Salad Month in May with a new Web site, www.30salads30days.com, featuring Mann Packing products.

    Six of the 66 recipes on the Web site pair Mann’s products, including Simply Singles, Stringless Sugar Snap Peas, Broccolini and Broccoli Wokly, with a Litehouse dressing.

    Sandpoint, Idaho-based Litehouse is promoting the Web site on its Facebook page, on its Balanced Options Web site (www.balanced-options.com) and through FSIs, while Mann Packing has sent a link to the site to the over 2,000 members of its monthly e-newsletter.

    “Litehouse is one of our strong promotional partners,” said Lorri Koster, VP of marketing at Salinas, Calif.-based Mann. “We’re pairing with Litehouse on three seasonal promotions this year, and it just makes sense to draw shopper attention to the refrigerated cases with a good value that makes healthy cooking fun, easy and convenient.”
