Marsh, Peyton Manning Foundation Sponsor Zoo Visit For 500 Youth

INDIANAPOLIS -- Marsh Supermarkets and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning's PeyBack Foundation, in conjunction with the Indianapolis Zoo, recently teamed to provide a visit to the Marsh Dolphin Adventure Theater for 500 local youths from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis.

Despite chilly temperatures, the children enjoyed a special presentation of the Indianapolis Zoo's dolphin show; visited the Oceans exhibit, presented by Old National Bank; and experienced zoo animals up close during an exclusive small animal presentation. The kids were given an opportunity to ask questions and touch the animals during the presentation by zoo staff. Afterwards, the youths enjoyed refreshments provided by Marsh.

Marsh spokeswoman Connie Gardner cited Marsh's commitment to promoting the education and positive development of children as the reason for the grocer's partnership with the PeyBack Foundation

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning created the PeyBack Foundation in December 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide the necessary leadership and growth opportunities for at-risk youth throughout in Indiana, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Marsh, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, is a leading regional chain, operating 98 Marsh supermarkets, five LoBill Foods stores and five O'Malia's Food Markets in Indiana and western Ohio.
