Marsh Supermarkets is poised to join with the Boy Scouts of America next week for the 17th annual Marsh Cookout on the Circle, which is expected to draw 4,000 Hoosiers to Monument Circle to enjoy a summer lunch with a goal of raising over $30,000 to help send 700 less fortunate Scouts to Cub Scout and Boy Scout summer camp.
The event, set for Thursday, June 19, has the support of several local media celebrities and state representatives, which will serve guests their lunch. Tickets are on sale in advance at all metro Indianapolis Marsh supermarkets for $6. Each meal includes a grilled chicken or bratwurst sandwich, potato salad, cookies and a drink.
