In celebration of the brand's 125th anniversary, McCormick has launched its year-long “Flavor of Together” initiative, as well as its McCormick Flavor Forecast 2014: 125th Anniversary Edition, which includes tastes and trends that aim to drive culinary innovation.
“Flavor of Together” is asking consumers to share their flavor stories, including memories, recipes or stories about family tradition. For every story shared, McCormick will donate $1, up to $1.25 million to United Way to help feed those in need.
Several top chefs, including Claire Robinson of the Food Network; Kelsey Nixon of the Cooking Channel; Donatella Arpaia of "Iron Chef America"; Suvir Saran, chairman at the Culinary Institute of America; and Alex Stupak, one of Food & Wine’s best new chefs of 2013, have joined forces to support the program.
