    'Innovative, effective' websites lauded with Food Industry Standard of Excellence Awards

    Marriner Marketing Communications was recently awarded three 2010 WebAwards from the Web Marketing Association for the websites developed on behalf of McCormick For Chefs, Perdue Farms’ Foodservice and Rich Products' Foodservice, all of which earned a Food Industry Standard of Excellence Award for being innovative and effective websites.

    The WMA's WebAwards is an international annual competition that recognizes best-in-class websites across 96 industries. For the past 14 years, WMA has honored winning websites that set an industry benchmark and recognized companies that "help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web."

    The McCormick For Chefs -- Launched in June 2010 to support the culinary needs of chefs and foodservice professionals, www.McCormickForChefs.com provides expanded product information by brand, flavor trends and resource toolbox. Created with a user-friendly approach, it's easy to view and download product specification sheets, resize recipe servings and learn cooking tips. Every section also displays recently viewed content and corresponding products and recipes to help meet a variety of flavor needs.
        
    Perdue Foodservice -- Designed to serve as a consultative partner for foodservice operators and chefs and a complete online resource for Perdue's sales force, users of www.PerdueFoodservice.com can quickly access product details, complete culinary center, 4CAST trends, industry segment information and sales support tools with fewer clicks and helpful visuals. Information can be downloaded as a PDF, emailed or printed to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness.
        
    Rich's Foodservice -- Launched in February 2010 to showcase the complete range of menu solutions available to the foodservice industry, chefs and culinary professionals go to www.RichsFoodservice.com to obtain recipe and menu ideas, product information, training guidance and segment specific insights for restaurants, college & universities and K-12 operations. The site is easy to navigate, with search functionality for products, recipes, sales brokers d more.
