    Meijer to Install Digital TV Network Chainwide

    It will work with PRN for ad sales and support of in-store TV network.

    Midwest supercenter chain Meijer, Inc. has selected San Francisco-based Premier Retail Networks to provide advertising sales and sales support services for its in-store media network.

    Under the multi-year ad sales agreement, PRN will provide Meijer with national and regional advertising sales representation and support for clients and advertising agencies across the country.

    “Meijer gives us a great strategic addition to our existing ad sales footprint by providing advertisers and agencies with the ability to reach highly desirable consumers in the Midwest,” said D. Scott Karnedy, PRN chief sales officer.

    PRN provides digital place-based media services that enable retailers and marketers to reach consumers in more than 10,000 locations in the U.S. and Mexico. Its retail customers include Acme Markets, Albertsons, Associated Food Stores, Costco, Jewel-Osco, Meijer, Pathmark, Sam’s Club, Shaw’s, ShopRite, Star Market, Target, Walmart Stores and Walmart Mexico.

    Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer operates 195 supercenters throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky.
