Mich. Executives Collaborate to Attract Next Generation of Industry Leaders

An unprecedented collaboration of top executives from Michigan’s energy and food industries will serve as judges in an “Epprentice” program that aims to put emerging food and energy leaders to the test working to solve the state’s critical food and energy issues.

Bolstered by leadership development coaching, Epprentice food participants will work on projects related to agriculture economy, food safety, hunger and child obesity.

The Food Epprentice Experience, set to take place Oct. 1, 2009, will be hosted by Ann Arbor, Mich.-based NSF International. The Environment & Energy Epprentice Experience, slated for Oct. 15, 2009) will be at Next Energy, Detroit.
