Mighty Bites Chicken Teams With Cincinnati Reds Kids Club

Maple Leaf Farms’ Mighty Bites chicken has signed on as a 2009 sponsor of the Cincinnati Reds’ Reds Heads Kids Club, which provides youngsters the opportunity to demonstrate Cincinnati Reds pride while getting involved in special events.

“The Reds Heads Kids Club is a great opportunity for Mighty Bites to connect with the Reds’ loyal and enthusiastic fans in a fun way,” said J.T. Croy, Mighty Bites marketing manager. “We look forward to introducing our product to the kids while helping retailers grow their sales.”

Among the various marketing and on-site promotional efforts Mighty Bites will provide is a player Q&A press conference, for which the brand will be the presenting sponsor. During the Q&A, various Reds players and coaches will take questions from the kids about baseball and other topics.

Other sponsorship components include:

-- Mighty Bites LED signage on the 1st and 3rd baselines during 30 home games
-- Season-long signage and sponsorship of the Swing-A-Way game in the Fan Zone kids’ play area
-- A Mighty Bites concourse sign
-- Mighty Bites Pepperoni Pizza stuffed chicken entrée sold at a Mighty Bites concession stand
-- Media mentions of Mighty Bites on radio, television and print ads.
-- Mighty Bites featured on the scoreboard, in the program and on the Reds Web site

The trans-fat free Mighty Bites -- 4-ounce chicken entrees stuffed with kid-chosen fillings like cheeseburger, cheese pizza, pepperoni and Mexican – are fully cooked portions made with only white meat and contain zero grams trans fat.
