In an effort to incorporate creativity into its chicken product packaging, Milford Valley will launch its 2013 “Art of Chicken” photo contest, in which artists and non-artists alike can win cash prizes for their shareable photographs that use Milford Valley packaging in a unique and non-traditional way. The contest will run Aug. 1 – Oct. 31, 2013.
The contest challenges entrants to submit original photographs that capture the Milford Valley brand using at least one Milford Valley retail package to the company’s Facebook page. Submissions may incorporate other materials as long as the packaging is the main feature.
“We’re looking for inspired original works of art or virtually any re-imagining of the Milford Valley packaging,” said Milford Valley marketing manager Carmen Darland. “We’re excited to see what contestants create. There are endless possibilities.”
The grand prize is $5,000, second place is $2,000 and third place is $500. All entries will be judged on their representation of the Milford Valley brand or products, as well as creativity and originality.
