    My Organic Market Officially Becomes MOM’s

    In recognition of its longtime nickname among the vast majority its shoppers, grocery chain MOM's Organic Market this week changed its name to MOM's Organic Market.

    In recognition of its longtime nickname among the vast majority its shoppers, grocery chain MOM's Organic Market this week changed its name to MOM's Organic Market.

    "Our logo for years has been M-apple-M, the initials of ‘My Organic Market,’” explained MOM’s president Scott Nash. “Our customers affectionately began referring to us as ‘MOM's.’ We decided to follow them and officially change our name to what most were already calling us."

    Rockville, Md.-based MOM's operates five stores in the Washington metro area, including: Rockville; College Park, Md.; Alexandria, Va.; Columbia East, Md.; and Frederick, Md.
