Nash Finch Names New V.P. of Sales & Business Development
MINNEAPOLIS -- Food distributor Nash Finch Co. here said yesterday it has promoted Gary Bickmore to the newly created role of v.p. of sales & business development.
Bickmore has more than 26 years of experience in food distribution and grocery retailing, the wholesaler said. He will report to e.v.p. of food distribution Christopher Brown.
Coming to Nash Finch in 2002, Bickmore first served as division manager of the Lima and Bellefontaine, Ohio divisions. Prior to joining the company, he was a division president and sales & marketing director for Fleming Cos., Inc.
Nash Finch's core business, food distribution, serves independent retailers and military commissaries in 31 states, the District of Columbia, Europe, Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Azores, and Egypt. The Company also owns and operates a base of retail stores, mainly supermarkets under the Econofoods, Family Thrift Center, and Sun Mart banners.
