New Price Chopper Unit in South Burlington, VT Will Feature Health & Wellness Resources
Price Chopper Supermarkets yesterday opened a 37,000-square-foot super center in South Burlington, Vt., that will soon feature a wealth of health and wellness-related resources from the grocer's recent partnership with EatingWell Media Group.
These resources include EatingWell recipes, health guides, cookbooks, and magazines throughout the store, and a series of wellness topics and resources on the Healthy U page of Price Chopper's Web site.
The new store is also part of Price Chopper's "Fuel AdvantEdge" program, launched last month, which is a cumulative savings/reward program that gives consumers a 10c/gallon discount on gasoline purchases for every $50 of groceries purchased. Several Sunoco stations within a 5 mile radius of the store are participating in the program.
The Golub Corp. owns and operates more than 100 Price Chopper grocery stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
