NGA said the promotions had the full endorsement of N.G.A.'s Executive Committee and "reflect Tom's and Frank's outstanding professional performance and long term commitment to the N.G.A. members and the independent community focused retail-wholesale sector of the grocery industry."
Wenning has been with the trade association since its founding in 1982. Pasquale joined in 1997.
Their tenure reflects a period of continued growth both in terms of membership and services, NGA said.
DiPasquale will continue to oversee research and education, the convention and conferences, and communications and membership. Wenning will continue to manage N.G.A.'s public affairs program including the Campaign to Preserve Competition, Consumer Choice and a Democratic Workplace, Administration; and to serve as the association's general counsel.
