Regional independent Niemann Foods, Inc. plans to replace its legacy pricing system with a new solution it will use to analyze item/profit movement and track earned promotional dollars from suppliers.
The Quincy, Ill.-based grocer will use Retalix HQs Category Analyzer and Bill Back Manager modules. “We needed a new price management system that could give us the automation and efficiency needed to reduce operating costs and maintain our competitive edge,” explained Larry Schaffer, director of information technology at Niemann Foods. “Retalix’s HQ central database and intuitive design will give us better control over our price management operations at our headquarters in supporting our stores.”
Retalix HQ is a centralized, rules-based pricing and inventory management solution that was developed to helps grocers control costs, prices and authorized items, and to standardize a company’s pricing best-practice disciplines for consistent execution of its price strategy.
Niemann operates 36 supermarkets under the County Market and Cub Foods banners in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.
